16 Months Old
Our little love has suddenly grown up. I don't know why it is so different from 15 months but he doesn't seem like our little baby anymore... sniffle! sniffle!
- Says these words: whoa, hi, more, yes, momma, daddy, grandma, randomly a lot of other words, and all sorts of animal sounds (cow, chicken, rooster, dog, cat, sheep)
- Likes to "help" do everything... unload the dishwasher, pick up garbage, do laundry, water the flowers, hammer/build our house
- Copies everything we do, especially Jonathan
- Loves to push his toy lawnmower or toy car everywhere
- Is really into figuring out how things work and/or go together
- Still loves Stinky the giraffe
- Sleeps in his crib with the side off so he can come find me (this makes him seem SO OLD!)
- On a good night, he wakes up 2-3 times a night and takes one 1-2 hour nap
- Climbs everything and really loves stairs
- Throws the ball for Chase and Kodi (they love him so much!)
- Likes to feed the dogs in the morning, he does a great job of carrying the food carefully and putting it in the correct dog dish
- Is getting really good at following directions to do something, find something, or clean up his mess
- Favorite toys: handy paint bucket (little red bucket for painting trim), lawn mower, mickey mouse car, tonka trucks/little cars, trucks, and tractors, balls (he is really good at throwing them!), riding his toy horse, tractors, the little "gator" at Grandma Twigg's house, the buttons on the radio, tv remotes
- Favorite foods: apples, grapes, sour cream, cereal, bagels
- Likes to throw his food across the dining room
- Goes on really long walks through the orchard, by the pond, and up into the walnut orchard by the great-grandparents house.
- Likes to "drive" our vehicles and the real gator at Grandma and Grandpa Twigg's farm
- Thinks he is dying when I wash his hair
- Loves his cousins on both sides of the family, especially Franklin (he will go ANYWHERE Franklin is going and loves to play wrestle with him)
- Tells us when he is "all done" by putting his arms up with his hands back
- Wants to be outside all day
