17 MONTHS
- New words: egg, "there it is" (he doesn't really say the exact words but that's what it is), more, one, two, three, four, boo (as in peek-a-boo)
- Likes to look through the books with animals and point to them as you say what they are
- Is really into pointing at facial features and being told what they are
- Throws little mini tantrums when he doesn't get his way/is told no - sometimes even comes over and hits my leg (The beginning of the terrible two's? Let's hope not.)
- Likes to try and put things together (zippers, clips on his high chair, cart cover, and travel high chair)
- Ryder is getting a sense of humor (When nursing he will stop and look at me and go, "hooo hooo hooo" like when he eats spicy food. Then I laugh and tell him that it's not spicy. He does this for awhile giggling the whole time!)
- Loves to play in the sprinklers, literally, LOVES water... except when it comes to washing his hair. Then he might as well be dying he cries, thrashes, and screams so much.
- Likes to throw rocks into the pond
- Does NOT like to share the toy he is playing with, unless it is his idea. He will scream really loud!
- Has to close every door, cupboard, dryer door, dishwasher, computer, etc. that he sees is open. Everything MUST be closed! Hahahaha!
- Wants to like spicy food so much, but it's just too spicy! (So far... I'm sure in no time everything will be spicy just like Daddy's food)
