Well, I should have known better than to get all excited about his new sleep habit. Just as quickly as it started..... it has stopped. Teething seems to have upset his sleep schedule once again and I am now getting up every 2-3 hours after I finally get him to succumb to the slumber. He likes to fight going to sleep now because he is so interested in what is going on around him that he has to "check it all out." He does this while nursing too. Instead of focusing and getting the job done he has to stop, unlatch, and sit up to look around every 30 seconds. It's awesome. Well, it's annoying and awesome. It's fun to watch him engage and be interested in the world around him, however I would love it if he would just nurse and THEN look around.
Ryder continues to be the center of attention in our lives and makes us laugh on a daily basis. Today he got to try a very tiny amount of banana mushed up and mixed with some breast milk. He was loving it! He kept grabbing the spoon and got so excited to get more. Lately he has been getting mad that he can't eat Jonathan or my food while we are eating.... so we let him have some banana.
