Cutting a Tooth?

Ryder has been really cranky the past few days... hmmmm.... maybe he is getting his first tooth???  He has started chewing on everything!  His thumb, his fingers, his teethers, everything!  Man, I hope if this is a tooth that it happens fast and that this isn't the routine for every tooth.  Poor little guy is not his usual self.

The other cool thing that is going on is that Ryder has decided he really likes to sit up and he has started really trying to do it on his own.  So far he has been able to balance sitting up for a couple seconds at a time.  That seems like a lot compared to the lump that he used to be.  Pretty soon he is going to be sitting on his own.  My little baby is growing up!

Today Ryder decided that he likes to read books with Mommy.  Finally!  I keep trying to read to him but he hasn't really liked it.  Normally he starts fussing, but today he was looking at all the colorful pages, holding the books, and talking while I read.  It was fun!
